Product description

Application Instructions
Surface Quality: Surfaces should be clean, smooth, solid, free from all kinds of dust, oil, dirt, rust, mold oil, detergent, etc. It should be ensured that the stones on the surface to be cast are in balance and the joints are in the desired conformity.

Surface Preparation: Absorbent surfaces should be pre-wetted, but there should be no water puddle. It would be a more suitable method to protect decorative and absorbent stone surfaces by using TEKNOLATEX or TEKNOCILA before casting.

Mixing: 5.0 - 6.0 liters of clean, clear water, taken from normal ambient temperature, is poured into a clean container free of any substance preventing adhesion. TEKNOREP 400, which is in powder form and in a 25 kg bag, is poured into the container filled with water. It is mixed with a low speed mixer until a homogeneous mixture without lumps is obtained. Mixing time is minimum 5 minutes. should be. The mortar obtained at the end of the process takes 3 minutes. rest and again for 2 minutes. should be mixed until it becomes homogeneous. After the material has reacted, water should not be added and mixed again.

Application Notes / Limitations
• It should be protected from sun, rain and frost for the first 3 hours in outdoor applications.
• Reaction times in cement based products are affected by ambient and ground temperatures. Reaction times are shortened in hot environments and longer in cold environments.
• Hot mixing water should be used in extremely cold environments.
• In extremely hot environments, cold mixing water should be used.
• During the application of the product, work clothes in accordance with the rules of work and worker health should be worn, and appropriate glasses and masks should be used.
• After the application, it should be protected against adverse weather conditions such as direct sunlight, strong wind, high air temperature (over +35 °C), rain and frost. Before the product is fully cured, hands should be cleaned with water and detergent.
• Equipment should be cleaned with water immediately after the application, before it hardens. After the product hardens, it should be cleaned by mechanical methods.
• The prepared mortar is slowly poured into the joints. As another method, it can be done by pouring the mortar and pulling it with a squeegee. Since it is fluid, the mortar is spread homogeneously on all sides. The better this process is done, the more difficult it is for the mortar to come out of the joints and damage the floor covering (cobblestone, border, cube stone, etc.).
