Teknobond 450 Epoxy Repair Mortar

Product description
It is a 3-component thixotropic repair mortar suitable for overhead and horizontal applications, consisting of epoxy resin, hardener and special fillers.

Usage areas
• Repairs of columns and beams damaged by corrosion or other reasons,
• In filling the pits formed due to abrasion,
• It is used in all kinds of stone and concrete repairs.

Application details
Surface Quality: The age of the concrete to be applied should be at least 4 weeks, depending on the ambient conditions. Surface humidity should be below 4%.

Surface Preparation: The surface to be repaired must be free of water, dust, oil, dirt, etc. materials should be cleaned from the surface, there should be no weakened parts on the surface.

Surface and Ambient Temperature: (+)5°C - (+)35°C

Application Instructions
Mixing: A and B components are mixed with a slow speed mixer. Mixing is continued until a homogeneous gray color is obtained, then component C is added and mixed again. Solvent free, not thinner.

Application Method / Equipment
After the mixture is made, the mortar is applied with a trowel. The epoxy mortar is smoothed with a trowel to ensure surface smoothness.

Consumption: Density 1.70 ± 0.1 kg/lt.

Cleaning: After application, it should be protected against adverse weather conditions such as direct sunlight, strong wind, high air temperature (over +35°C), rain and frost. Before the product is fully cured, hands should be cleaned with water and detergent.

Cleaning of Equipment: Equipment should be cleaned with Tekno Thinner immediately after the application, before it hardens. After the product hardens, it should be cleaned by mechanical methods.

Potlife: Approx. 30 minutes at 20 °C

Cleaning Time: Approximately 60 minutes at 20 °C

Application Notes / Limitations
While mixing and applying, use rubber gloves, mask and goggles to protect your skin and eyes from epoxy. Especially the eyes should be carefully protected. If it splashes into your eyes, rinse with plenty of water for about 15 minutes and consult a physician immediately. Keep away from foodstuffs and children.
