Teknobond 850 PR Fast Curing Polyurethane Mortar

Product description:
It is a fast-curing, solvent-free, 3-component, low-viscosity, waterproofing, casting mortar consisting of a combination of specially graded aggregates and high-strength polyurethane resins.

Application details:
Surface Quality: Surfaces should be clean, smooth, solid, free from all kinds of dust, oil, dirt, rust, mold oil, detergent, etc. Concrete floor should also be free of puddles, moisture and dampness. It must be a dry ground, the concrete surface moisture must be below 4%.

Surface Preparation: It should be prepared by cleaning with appropriate mechanical surface preparation techniques such as high pressure water jet, vacuum, roughening, sandblasting.

Surface and Ambient Temperature: (+)5°C - (+)35°C

Surface Quality: The weak parts of the application surfaces should be cleaned by milling, sandblasting or sanding. If the surface is too bright, it should be roughened with milling or sandblasting to increase the specific surface. If there is oil on the surface, it should be burned, dirt and dust should be vacuumed.

Priming: The cleaned surfaces should be primed with TEKNOBOND 300. TEKNOBOND 850-PR is applied no later than 24 hours after the primer application.

Mixing: Pour component B into component A. Mix with a low-speed electric mixer until the mixture in the cloudy appearance reaches a completely homogeneous appearance. Then pour the mixture into a suitable container and add component C slowly and continuously, continue mixing for at least 3 minutes until a homogeneous and flowing mortar is obtained.

Consumption: Density 1.85 ± 0.05 kg/lt.

Cleaning: After application, it should be protected against adverse weather conditions such as direct sunlight, strong wind, high air temperature (over +35°C), rain and frost. Before the product is fully cured and hardened, hands and places in contact with the skin should be cleaned with water and detergent. In case of contact with eyes, a doctor should be consulted after washing with plenty of warm water and detergent.

Cleaning of Equipment: Equipment should be cleaned with Tekno Thinner immediately after the application, before it hardens. After the product hardens, it should be cleaned by mechanical methods.

Potlife: Approx. 5 minutes at 20 °C

Cleaning Time: Approximately 1 hour at 20 °C

Application Notes / Limitations:
• It should be protected from sun, rain and frost for the first 24 hours in outdoor applications.
• During the application of the product, work clothes in accordance with the rules of work and worker health should be worn, and appropriate glasses and masks should be used.
• It should not be forgotten that if the mixing ratios change, the strength and adhesion values ​​of the product will also change.
