Features and Advantages

Application Instructions
The surfaces to be applied may be dry or slightly damp. Do not apply to damp or wet surfaces. It should not be applied in areas where water and water vapor pressure or salt emesis are observed on the negative side. Surfaces must be clean, sound and free from free particles. Layers that will reduce adhesion such as lime, calcite, oil, grease, dirt, paint, cement grout, rust, mold oil, salt bleed must be thoroughly cleaned before application. Surfaces should be roughened by mechanical methods in areas deemed necessary.

In cases where primer application is required, 150 g/m2 consumption, adhesion performance can be increased with TEKNOFAST primer.

TEKNOFLEX is ready to use, it is used without diluting with water. The application should be done with a brush or roller in 2 - 3 layers and full drying (12-24 hours depending on ambient conditions) should be waited between the layers. Newly made applications should be protected against water, rain and frost until they are completely dry.

During the application, the floor/wall junctions and the surfaces with the risk of cracking should be reinforced with an alkali-resistant plaster net of 50-75gr/m2 (it should be laid on the fresh layer immediately after the first layer is applied). After the curtain wall insulation is completed, the surfaces should be protected against damage before soil filling is done. (Heat insulation board XPS, styrofoam, drainage board etc.) It is also recommended to create a suitable drainage system.

Storage: The package containing the product should not be left in direct sunlight. Shelf life is 1 year between (+)10 °C - (+)35 °C.

Application Notes / Limitations
• If there is a possibility of rain and frost in outdoor applications, it is recommended to postpone the application.
• During the application of the product, work clothes in accordance with the rules of work and worker health should be worn, and appropriate glasses and masks should be used.
• It should not be forgotten that if the mixing ratios change, the strength and adhesion values ​​of the product will also change.
