Application Instructions
Surface Preparation: The application surface must be cleaned of dust, oil, curing material, detergent, mold oils and anti-adhesive substances such as silicone. The surface may be dry or slightly damp. It is recommended not to apply on wet, snowy surfaces and in rainy weather.

Cleaning: After application, it should be protected against adverse weather conditions such as direct sunlight, strong wind, high air temperature (over +35°C), rain and frost. Before the product is fully cured, hands should be cleaned with water and detergent.

Application Notes / Limitations
• Depending on the length of the expansion joint to be applied, TEKNOMER DILATATION TAPE is cut with scissors or a utility knife. If desired, a polyethylene wick larger than the dilatation width is placed in the joint.
• It is pulled up a little to make it curve. Two-component epoxy-based TEKNOBOND 400 D is mixed. It is applied to both concrete surfaces with a trowel.
• TEKNOMER DILATATION TAPE is cleaned by wiping with a small amount of thinner and placed on the expansion joint in such a way that it curves. If additional tapes are to be applied, the overlaps are placed at least 10 cm above each other. Joining is done after melting by keeping hot air source on the lower and upper sides of the overlapping places.
• It should be seen that TEKNOBOND 400 D comes out through the holes on the side of TEKNOMER DILATATION TAPE. After the first layer of TEKNOBOND 400 D has hardened, the second layer is applied on it.
• The product should be taken out of its packaging when it will be used. Before and after the application, care should be taken not to damage the structure of the product with piercing and cutting tools.
