Product description
Fabrics made of basalt fibers with alkali resistant coating are products developed for preventing cracks and for different structural reinforcement applications. It has the advantage of having higher tensile strength than glass fiber and steel.

High performance, alkali resistant basalt mesh can be easily used in cementitious applications thanks to its resistance to decay, corrosion or oxidation. Thanks to its light weight, easy installation and use, basalt mesh will be a strong alternative to steel.

Usage areas
• Repair of moderately and slightly damaged columns and beams,
• In the repair of historical artifacts, mosque domes and minarets,
• Stone, brick or etc. It can be used in masonry walls and foundations for repair and strengthening purposes.

Application details
• Plaster and paint on the building element are removed, the surface is cleaned and necessary repairs are made.
• TEKNOBOND 200 mixture is thinly applied to the surface.
• TEKNOBOND 300 is impregnated with TEKNOWRAP.
• TEKNOWRAP is adhered to the places to be strengthened. If desired, the finished material can be covered with paint, plaster or plaster.
